SCHEDULE

Feeling a bit lost looking at the schedule? We get it.

If it’s your first time at Jazz Roots, it might look like a lot is going on… and honestly, it is.
That’s part of what makes the festival so special — it’s an immersive experience designed to take your dance to the next level.Take your time.
Discover the themes. See what each teacher has carefully prepared for you.

Here’s how the days are structured.

Mornings = Tracks
You’ll follow a consistent group and dive deeper into your dancing with the same teachers and level. No need to overthink — just show up and grow.

Afternoons = Tasters
This is where you explore. You can choose classes based on your mood, your favorite teachers, or topics that inspire you. Pick them in advance… or decide on the spot — both work.

Each taster comes with a recommended level, so you can easily find what fits you best. If you feel like challenging yourself, go for it!

PARIS TOUR

CLASSES

All classes will take place within a 10-min. walk from La Bellevilloise (the main venue).

  • MASTER CLASSES: Advanced and in-depth sessions led by selected artists, designed for dancers seeking deeper knowledge, and refinement.
    A detailed description of each masterclass will be released soon.

  • TRACK CLASSES: A more flexible learning experience

    For the 2026 edition, Paris Jazz Roots introduces thematic tracks alongside our traditional level-based classes.

    The Jazz Roots Track follows a familiar level structure and is designed for dancers who prefer a more classic class progression.

    At the same time, additional tracks allow dancers to focus on specific approaches or disciplines, such as musicality, tap, or video clip choreography concepts. These tracks are not strictly level-based and invite participants to explore jazz dance through a more specialized lens.

    More details about each track and its content will be released soon.

  • TASTERS: Will take place in the afternoon from Saturday to Monday. You’re free to choose your Tasters from a variety of options based on your preferences - whether it’s the teachers, level, content, venue, or simply wanting to join friends.
    More details about Taster themes will be available soon.
